ENGAGING PATIENTS IN MAKING DECISIONS
Together with Mayo Clinic, we have developed a set of electronic co- decision aids to improve communication between patients and their health practitioners about the most appropriate treatment in the light of their personal circumstances.
The Mayo Clinic Shared Decision Making National Resource Center advances patient-centred medical care by promoting shared decision making through the development, implementation, and assessment of patient decision aids and shared decision-making techniques.
In February 2014, a scientific paper was published in JAMA about the benefits conferred by our statins co-decision aid.
